Chris Heidel - Jimbo Fisher and Florida State Seminoles are having a very tough 2017
season with tough loses to top rank Alabama on Labor Day weekend and at home lost last weekend to Rival Miami Hurricanes . So this week the Noles hit the road to Durham North Carolina where they have never lost to the Duke Blue Devils. This is a rematch of the 2013 ACC Championship Game where the Noles won their 3rd ACC Football Championship, beating Blue Devils 45-7 at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte NC. The Noles are 1-3 on the season and dealing with some major injuries to their starting quarterback Deondre Francois during the first game of the season. James Blackman is a true freshman QB getting the keys to offense that has been problems in the red zone during the first 4 games of the season. Fisher is hoping that his freshman quarterback is ready to turn the corner to keep nation's longest win seasons of 40 straight years going. On the other side of the Football, the Blue Devils started off the 2017 season with 4-0 record with wins over Northwestern and Baylor. They come into this game the loser of 2 games in row after losing to Virginia last weekend in Charlottesville. Daniel Jones has been having issues with the offense the last couple weeks but Coach David Cutcliffe is hoping that he can return to form like last season.
