Chris Heidel - The Delaware Blue Hens and the Richmond Spiders played another classic game in
this rivalry dated back to 1931, when these both schools played against each other for the first time. Both teams went over 350 yards of total offense on this warm autumn day at Delaware Stadium. Blue Hens running back Jamie Jarmon has over 144 yards of total offense with 3 Td’s whileJ.P. Carusco, the Blue Hens Quarterback, had a tough day, throwing the football only 130 yards passing. Kyle Lauletta, the Spiders Quarterback, threw 295 yards passing with 4 Td’s in the loss to the Blue Hens. Lauletta spoke after the game, saying that he need to work better next week against Stony Brook and not to turn the football over like he did on Saturday afternoon against Blue Hens. Delaware's running game rushed for 288 yards, with Kani Kane rushing for 109 yards and Jarmon for 103 yards in the win. The win over Richmond has given the Blue Hens a 5-2 record and 3-1 in the CAA after 7 games while the Spiders have a two game winning streak over a two games after the loss to Delaware.
